Published: 8/17/2026
A succulent Nordic-Asian fusion. The honey-soy glaze provides a rich, caramelized exterior while the salmon stays moist and tender — a one-pan meal that is perfect for a quick but elegant weeknight dinner.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 2 lbs (900 g) salmon fillets (4 portions)
- 1 lb (450 g) asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk the honey, soy sauce, and ginger together.
- Place the salmon and asparagus on the pan. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and the salmon with the honey-soy glaze.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C).
Pro Tips
- Use a Thermometer: Pull the salmon at exactly 135°F (57°C). This prevents the albumin (the white protein) from leaking out, ensuring a juicy result.
